Can not say enough about how much I love this program. I've been blessed to get the opportunity to blog for Mother Goose Time in exchange for my honest feedback and opinion on the materials in the curriculum box that they send me each month. Since using this program I have seen great improvement in my children. I love how Little Goose helps me tailor the curriculum to my younger children so that they are also getting the same chances to explore and grow in their development using Mother Goose Time.
Two great activities this week were making dino headbands and dino bones art. It kept my children ages 19 months to 12 years old engaged and excited. The first, was the dino headbands. My baby even colored on his headband by making dots. My older children all made their headbands differently using materials all freely. They all were laughing and talking about what dino their mask was going to be. Pterodactyl seems to be our favorite.
Our Noodle. art gave the children so many great learning opportunities. We talked about what we could do to create our art. I use open ended art. This is where I use a tray to lay out all the materials and allow them to choose and do their art as they please. I feel that doing it this way allows more chances for us to challenge the children in more ways. My 19 month old was more about squeezing the glue but that's perfectly fine at least that means she is working on fine motor development. My older children were really focusing on where the glue needed to go and what noodle shape they needed to us in their glue.
One of my older ones drew a picture of dinosaur that was eating hearts for Valentine's day. I write down exactly what they say word for word. Thank you MGT for providing all these great materials to us to allow us to build upon our learning skills. What a great week we had thanks to MGT.
